A green house is a place where things grow. But does it only have to be food? A two-week food-related social design/mutual aid/pay-what-you-can-event, named Mini-Mouthful.

A green house is a place where things grow. But does it only have to be food?

We (Mads Pålsrud/GrowLab, architect Jo Daniel Storengen and myself) built a small structure by the Oslo National Academy of the Arts from donated materials and made two soups from donated produce. We had a pay-what-you-can scheme and donated all the funds to Kirkens Bymisjon and their Please Someone Who is Worried About Christmas-campaign.

The project lasted for two weeks and included sessions of food, laughter, talks, design seminars (e.g. about collaborative food and agricultural practices in urban settings), all in all: A mini-mouthful of all things nice.

Samarbeidet med designer Mads Pålsrud/GrowLab og arkitekt Jo Daniel Storengen om prosjektet Drivhuset/Mini-Munnfull. Vi bygget et lite hus ved Akers Mek på nedsiden av Kunsthøgskolen. Her arrangerte vi suppekjøkkenet Mini-Munnfull under Restaurant Day og samlet inn bidrag til Kirkens Bymisjons julekampanje Gled en som gruer seg til jul (mutual aid/pay what you can). Drivhuset stod i to uker og det ble avholdt små foredrag, samtaler og konserter. Drivhuset ble demontert i sin helhet og brukes videre av GrowLab.
